Keynote Address: Sarah Poole, Deputy Assistant Administrator of UNDP

Sarah Poole will give the keynote speech at Gender Equality in Public Institutions, a workshop in partnership between the United Nations Development Programme and the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Poole’s speech is titled “Shining a Light on Decision-Making in Public Institutions: Reflections on SDG Data to Fuel Women’s Empowerment in the Public Service” and will begin at 9:00am on November 9, 2017, on the 3rd floor of the Twentieth Century Club (4201 Bigelow Blvd). Ms. Poole has served as the Deputy Assistant Administrator and Deputy Director to the Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) of UNDP since November 2015. Ms. Poole holds a Master’s of Science in Government from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from the University of Michigan. The keynote address is sponsored by the Professor Saul M. Katz International Lectureship on Economic & Social Development.
